Bulbs for Ecudare

The donations from the bulb sale this year raised £425 from MCT. This will go towards the water bore hole project. Thank you to all who contributed.

Pots of bulb will be on sale this Sunday after the service and every Sunday in November in aid of Ecudare. There will be hyacinth bulbs and tete a tete miniature daffodils.
The donation from the bulb sale this year will go towards the water bore hole project. Water at the school has to be bought in. It arrives in very large containers and costs quite a lot of money. As you can imagine a school uses a lot of water and Esther has decided that it would be a good thing if they had their own water supply. Then they could sell their excess water to neighbours therefore making some money as well as having their own supply. This is a huge project and this is just a start, but we can help in a small way. Esther is getting engineers to assess the site and find out how far they would have to drill down to find water. So this is just the beginning.
