Esther Wanjohi from Ecudare is coming to MCT

Hello, and Welcome to Esther from everyone in Murrayfield Churches Together. Yes Esther is coming to Edinburgh for a visit. She arrives on Monday 5th August and will be staying with members of Murrayfield Parish Church in the parish for a week, departing on Monday 12th August.

Esther will be welcomed and entertained by the ECUDARE group when she arrives on the 5th of August and the rest of the week will include a visit to the Murrayfield Club, an evening at Saughtonhall UR Church, Morning Worship (Eucharist) followed by hospitality at the Church of the Good Shepherd, a visit to the Church of Scotland where she will meet the Moderator and a festival event at St Giles’ Cathedral. There will be a joint Murrayfield Churches Together service in Murrayfield Parish Church at 10.30am on Sunday 11th August when Esther will give a talk and video presentation. All are very welcome. The service will be followed by a sandwich lunch in the Church Centre with an opportunity to meet and chat with Esther before she leaves the following day. There is no ticket or charge for the lunch but donations will be welcome. Fiona Dinsmore (MPC Fairtrade representative) will be hosting a Fairtrade stall in the hall with some lovely items for sale made by the Kenyan ladies; so please bring along some cash.
